The key to strapping stuff on the bike, especially bags, is looseyness.

Try not to make any points stretch as to stress any of the straps. In fact give everything at least 2cm leeway so it can gently shift around without snapping anything. Dry bags are glued and “welded” and pulling on the loops and connection points is not optimal.

More importantly, always use at least 2 completely separate straps/bunjees in case one breaks…3, even better. This prevents any points of failure and your luggage flying off your bike and decapitating (head clean off) a 7 year toddler in the car behind you on the highway.

I must have slept for 10 hours last night, so comfy. Also, did you know Shell stations sell vinyl and CDs, isn’t that cool?

Heading home, responsibilities await…need to feed cats and get ingredients for my Polish feast.

A little Turkish along the way.

Jeeez, what lovely place and what lovely people!!

Butchered BMW. I can hear it crying.

Cafe racer (and other) butchering of motorcycles needs to stop. This is worse than the whole ricer car movement of the 90s.

This bike used to be a work of art.

Bought a new backpack today.

I love these colors, it’s more of a back-sack. Time to show it off downtown Varna.

It was 2 Euros at IKEA. How does this even work?

Anyways, it’s brand new…and I have to buy everything.

Drybag/Backpack for winter biking and groceries…

…has arrived from Romania this morning. It’s made for kayaking, I will be using it to shuttle stuff on the bike and pick up groceries and cat littler in the rainy months. It’s made from thick rubbery….rubber.

My other 17 bags are, sadly, not very waterproof.

This just one huge cavernous duffel bag…easy to manage and carry and strap.

I will be showcasing it tomorrow for the 1st time.

Day off today.

This burger was oddly super delicious (like a flatburger you would get a diner). Just greasy and slimy. Wonderful.
