I will be doing my 1st oil change myself, EU rules allow me to change my own oil and do my own maintenance as long as I use OEM parts in order to keep my 5 year warranty on the bike (yes, I got the extra warranty, it was comically inexpensive and a no-brainer). BMW is generally NOT known for making quality products.
