Crazy awesome.

They are keeping the park and I WILL HOPEFULLY have lights to the main road and not a gravel pit I need to scarily accelerate from onto the back highway. This is just such great news for me.

Birdie is tired cuz she keeps chewing my new $150 rug.

Which means only one thing. I will have to buy a new $150 rug every month now. Sigh.

I am freezing some of the soup till another cold winter evening. It is VERY cold outside.

Ohh..and the IKEA 365 stuff is amazing. I have loads of containers now, even some big ones to make casseroles and shit like that.

This is very funny to me.

Almost extremely so.

I actually laugh out loud.

I made peas and carrots and 20 other things soup….

..and garlic, and 2 apples, and livers and ginger and some other greens.

I will freeze some for upcoming winter evenings. God this is good!!

New gloves. They are exactly 50 years old.

Arrived from Ukraine today after 2 months in limbo. Old Russian military surplus. Imagine the history.

I guess I need a Kalashnikov next.

Ugly needs a combing and a small makeover. She looks disheveled today.

All the cats have been super good this year. Super chill and Sto has lost A LOT of weight.

Some great news. A melted Russian cockroach is best cockroach.

I transferred the inner protector to the new bag.

I am living the dream!!!!!!!!! The colors match perfectly.

Day 1 testing 100% success.

Once a year I make a “prisoner’s dinner”.

Exactly what I wanted today….sooo good.

Although squeezing 10cm of mayo directly into my mouth as “dessert” made me a little dizzy.

I have never seen anything this amazing. This backpack is an engineering marvel.

Countless pockets but it’s also a rucksack with top and side access. The top rolls as needed with a MAGNET and clips (zero possibility of anyone stealing my vintage magazines or cat food). Waterproof and crazy heavy duty (the material is like steel). Seriously just fucking epic….and on the side there is a super protective and cushioned zipper area to hold my strawberries (and other berries) so they don’t get squished. I am so happy.

The rucksack part is awesome because you can expand the bag by more than 50%…perfect on those cheap flights I take. I can fill it just enough for it to fit in the airline metal lobster (where they test)…then after check in…I can open it further and dump the rest of my stuff that I have stuffed in my jacket pockets and on myself.

Ohhh and there is a secret MacBook and iPad pocket against the back..

AND…is there a better color than this?

I am probably the smartest person on the planet…

Ohhh and Birdie LOVES it.

Accident yesterday. They were all arguing, probably about the merits of cigarettes and vaping.

It’s hard to take anyone seriously when they have one these plastic penises in their mouths, especially a cop at an accident scene. 17th century life, today.

Slightly larger Thule bag finally arrived and, as planned, matches my ratchet set box perfectly.

I’m so happy. 5 more liters of storage.

Last Of Us is awesome. Watching EP 4. Birdie doesn’t like it, too scary for her floppy ears.

Today I made duck with lots of veggies and sticky rice.

The sticky rice was unintentional….but it was sticky and delightful.

The Osprey bag inside the bag is a lifesaver.

I’ve mentioned this already. Makes shopping easy. No mess, no spills, protects these stupidly expensive bags. I want to have these for the rest of my life.
