Huge firmware update for my little controller today. Sooo much stuff.

holiday everyday
That bread was warm when I got it….sooo tasty.
Plus zero mayo as I’m currently fasting.
I added some buttery mushrooms to make it more vegetarian.
I made onion omelette with some beans to keep my hands warm.
Did you know I spent my youth living 2 minutes away from the Baltic sea, living essentially in a small seaside resort.
The back of my school essentially backed onto the beach….no lie.
Funny thing I have a brand new toilet with ALL NEW plumbing…ohh well…7 Euro fix.
Escaping the toilet and the draft.
Turkey was weird 2 weeks ago…it was all ugly russians in funny clothing from 17th century (and plenty of pajama pants). Zero culture and just fucking weird.
This starter pack also needs – new hair and nail salons, taxi drivers in sweatpants, influx of hookers and massage places. Yeah, that about covers 99% of russians.
ALSO..THEY NEVER SMILE, EVER…..NOT ONCE, NOT ONE.
He’s so much more attractive than his “chunky” owner.
Add time and energy costs and cleaning and all the stupid shit…this is all so delicious
Put almost 500k on the bike over the last 2 days…..I am sooooo tired.
I am not quite there yet, I think it needs to marinate at least one more day.
My 3x boiled then cooled potato wedges are just insane.
Stotinka got one steak-bite, she’s no longer on a diet but she’s under “control”. She’s doing amazingly well……
By “rat race” I mean it’s Friday afternoon, bike is parked inside (thank you my amazing management company) and I picked up 3 separate cheese dips from Serbian grill and a quick shkembe and a beer from Valencia. I might just relax this weekend, I need to let the stresses of life dissipate.
Packing for my next adventure on Monday – it’s gonnaaaa be a good one.
Arrived late evening, obligatory sushi feast, IKEA ,visit and late night city hike. Sublime. Varna is also completely upside down, new homes, renovations, all new sidewalks and roads. The whole city, every corner. Everything is getting renovated..Amazing.
Stayed at The Citadel, as always, of course. Everyone knows me by name and is accommodating to a fault. Everything 10/10, the lady is so nice and finally replaced their credit card machine. Before you actually needed the physical card, ugh…how retro. I can now pay with my watch and move on with my life. I always just call them directly, they get all the money and booking.com can suck a dick with their fees and nonsense.
Meandering through the 1800s is incredible. Some of these villages West of the coast are truly something to see with your real eyes. Incredible.
But I’m a little cold. 10k from destination….
..contain about 4 liters of juice in EACH fruit. It’s astonishing how fucking delicious everything is this year. I have eaten NOTHING that wasn’t 100% amazing…something is almost…weird.
I got a Serbian spicy pepper cheese dip 2 go. Sooooo good.
This weekend I will come for beer…no, beers.
This is my Dad’s VERY favorite place in Bulgaria!!!
T-Market sells never frozen chicken now, whole or in pieces….it really tastes like it comes from the village 4km away. It’s CRAZY fresh and plump and incredibly delicious…AND SOOOO CHEAP. I bought 1KG yesterday for 2 Euros. That’s cheaper than sand. Preparing it is NOTHING, a little marinating in pepper and salt and water and teaspoon of soya sauce overnight in the fridge. Next day into beloved (and sexy) air fryer for 25 minutes, shake it every 5 minutes (it’s on WiFi so you get a notification, obviously)….AND YOU HAVE THE BEST AND JUICIEST CHICKEN ON EARTH…..the 2 bucks makes 2 awesome meals.
The airfryer eagerly collects the amazing chicken fats which I used to cook the veggies in and as a mix for the young Bulgarian squished potatoes…jesus FUCK!!! This is ALL just so delicious.
Ohh yeah, wait, I even have some chicken bits for the rats….I mean cats.
Also, CAMPING SOON!!!
