The Chinese take out food place owners are essentially the nicest people in the galaxy. Bulgarian dude + his super sweet Ukrainian wife. They are so normal and so nice, so refreshing. They are from Burgas and have been married for decade plus and…well…again, they are just SO FUCKING AWESOME + their food reminds me of Vancouver.

Bought another wicker basket for Ugly. I think she loves the creeky sound of wicker. When I put her in a regular plastic box, she scowls.

So now she has 3…different sizes for different occasions.

My spicy avocado butter with horseradish and mayo..and peppers….was extremely disappointing.

OMG, “murders” is back and it’s better than ever….and WOW what a cast….literally the best of the best of the best of THE WORLD?

I made my famous super spicy pork sauce with Amazon hand peeled tomatoes. I never eat pasta but this was obviously epic and I had a massive craving + I have a small batch of leftovers for tomorrow that I will eat on the beach…..cuz I live on the beach.

UK flight booked, Cotswolds baby + deep fried fish + curry chicken + village hooliganism + Clarkson’s Farm again and opulence……….and repairs (more on that later).

It might actually rain here for the 1st time in 20 months…I need to hold off on Varna just a day or two + I think my hotel is a bit cheaper starting Sept 1….a stotinki saved is a stotinki earned.

I will have sushi and this completely magical pork leg thing at the local Varna downtown pub that is so fucking insane that it deserves a book written…yes..just about this ONE FUCKING DISH AT THIS ONE FUCKING PLACE.

Just bought some cat food, litter, loads of canned stuff for sauces and soups, canned sardines, 8 rechargeable high capacity batteries, spices, new WiFi plug, toilet paper…..just basic shit for the house that would have cost 2X (and more) at Janet.

Loads of cans of chickpeas, beans, tapioca, even huge cans of peaches and other fruits + pasta and plum sauce.

More than 30 ITEMS.

AND IT’S DELIVERED TO MY DOOR.
