Just went outside, brain can’t compute this weird heat when I opened the door.

It was even 1 degree warmer at 1am…wtf?

But for its inaugural mission, I have used it to fry. Sorry.

I made a super-batch of super-tasty, super-veggie tempura.

It REALLY worked out. Key is to make tiny batches and eat one/two at a time as they are ready, hence lack of proper photos.

But it makes a mess and you have to get the oil temp just right…

From now on I will be deep frying everything, obviously.

It was +18 today….which is nuts.

Also…complex across from me is having a huge party…I can hear the music as if it’s playing inside my place. I’m not going, I think it’s old people (40+)….ewww, not my thing.

and everyone is so fucking nice….even had my Amazon delivered here.

Plus fluffy the cat is always on standby..

Life doesn’t get better than this.

The omelette was just incredible.

They make them super slowly in the oven, they almost melt in my mouth. Since they are not fried, they’re about as good for you as apple slices.

At my age, eating well is becoming more and more impactful.

The key is to marinade the beef (which is awful in BG) in lime juice….then salt it gently….then wait…then wait…then slowly grill…..THEN IT’S AWESOME!!

Pouring rain and cold. Next week should be awesome plus lots of weird projects and tasks.

Yes, I made nigiri with ostrich meat and it was INCREDIBLE. Think about it? How can it not be, it’s medium rare buttery melting lean meat with awesome sushi rice (that I mastered) dipped in horse and some Kikkoman. Fuck ya.

Just moving things from one place to the other, then back = yay productivity.

I am happy to have some leftover bird to BBQ. Then maybe a proper 80s ninja movie. Time will tell.

Pixel art display thing is coming next week, I will connect it to one of my free Raspberry Pis and write some fun MicroPython code for it to display some dumb shit. Stock tracker or a weather thing and a world clock….yawn….I need to be a bit more creative than that. I need to find some data feeds..maybe I can connect to my air quality sensor on the balcony.
