OMG. My dream Thinkpad is finally done.

Just needs one last cleanup. It took more than a year to find the machine and all the parts, the keyboard arrived from Lithuania this morning. She works as good as new. I have Windows 10 installed on the internal SSD and…yes, I kept the old mechanical drive…that will run ZorinOS (it’s a Linux distro).

It’s still missing one screw on the bottom and I am planning on buying an LTE PC-CARD 3G modem from the mid 2000s…but they are impossible to find.

Another dream would a XIRCOM modem/ethernet with X-Jack….I will keep searching.

I still cry sometimes. What a hero.

Waxing day today. All I do is work, work, work, work…

Charging my vintage Anker with solar. I’m cooler than you.

Scoot and eat. My day today. Now off to the beach then Serbian grill.

THINKPAD KEYBOARD SHIPPED TODAY.

Vlad and Kate are back at their fancy 2 level flat in Sofia. I must visit them.

This ratchet cost me way too much money but..

It’s heavy like a tank, almost weird to hold, it feels epic. But, the epicness doesn’t end there, it’s a rotary ratchet, too. The handle turns, you can even use a hex key in tight spaces. I need to find a project now.

More solar stuff coming next week, including the best controller on the market today. I am crazy excited.
