Third bowl of the day and I finally have my cold feet in sauce….. Like a normal person.

8 dollars for a medium coffee that costs 20 cents.

Doha airport super busy everywhere except the shops. Vancouver pricing everywhere.

My next leg is at 3am. So far super super smooth except a visa fuck up (possibly by me)…. More on that later.

As a strict no-GMO, I upcycle, vegan superfood consumer…

… I ordered only fruit on this flight on the Qatar website… just to see what actually happens…Joking aside, it was the perfect meal for this leg of the flight. Everything was sweet and crispy and even though I had access to unlimited free booze, I had tomato juice with pepper.

I’m going to hell 100%. There is no denying that now.

But also…. On a funny footnote. I have the window seat and the center is empty…. On the 3rd seat (I am not making this up) there is a lady who actually works for Qatar and tests the service on the plane including all the meals and drinks. I was able to test everything they have been serving from veggies to kabobs to chicken to this incredible tofu and poppy seed dish with a sauce flavor I’ve never tasted. Isn’t that fun?

All this food is prepared in a specialized Bulgarian kitchen and I’m guessing the airline has some type of a process to make sure everything is up to their standards.

Awesome new Thule backpack has a hardhat where you can keep your breakables like camera a phones. It’s a good idea.

Normally I would take the amazing metro but I have an inkling to super splurge on an 8$ taxi today like an aristocrat.

This table is full of people who just arrived from Paris.

They are even speaking French….cool, eh.

Here is my breakfast. It’s actually fucking sourdough..instead of just that shitty Bulgarian bread. 10/10.

They even put a dabble of pesto into my eggs.

View from my 30 Euro (and MASSIVE) hotel room is incredibly lovely and incredibly Bulgarian.

Visited 2 Vietnamese places. Dude was born in Hanoi. Amazing.

The 14 Leva pho downtown Sofia was absolutely perfect. I’ll try the 3rd place tomorrow before departing.

Am I in heaven?

I found the cheapest hotel I could find. Under 100Leva. My interaction with the front desk is pure gold.

I’m so excited, less than 100k to go.

I always pray the bus stops at this KFC.

It is the best KFC on earth, I don’t know what they do but it’s the way KFC was made back in the days. Steamed but still crispy and full of flavor. I got the Texas Triple, of course.
